AMORC Unmasked

Last Response to Bruno

I guess my ears are still ringing after reading again the comments on my book, the Prisoner of San Jose by A. Bruno ‘Italiano,’ in U. K. Amazon. At the end of his critique, he says:

I am deeply sorry for this man but I think it’s really horrible what he has done. If he did not agree on the principles of AMORC, he should have just left and not waiting for 25 years. Exercises and techniques described here as methods for indoctrinations and hypnosis. Mr Freeman if you look at all the new age and Eastern religions, you would… Continue reading

Escalating the Illusion Part II

In an article called “The Inner Self” for The Celestial Sanctum section of the Rosicrucian Digest (May/June 1988), Dennis Kwaitkowski, F.R.C. relates-

“Our Rosicrucian Manual defines the Inner Self as the spiritual consciousness within the physical body. It further goes on to relate that this consciousness constitutes man’s real being and is part of the soul or the divine element of each person’s existence. The physical, material part of man is related to the spiritual consciousness, for both are part of the same cosmic whole and both work in harmonious parallel. The Inner Self, however, is unlimited and is in… Continue reading

Dare to Think!

In a Message from the Supreme Grand Lodge entitled, “Dare to Think!” in the Rosicrucian Digest of Spring, 1992, the spokesman ventures,

Dare to Think! This command will be heard when you are about to free yourself from the bondage of ignorance. It is the goal, which the teachings of AMORC are striving for; its students strive to become free individual who learn to use their own mind and think for themselves.

Many of my critics have harped on the “liberalism” and open-mindedness of AMORC, undoubtedly focusing on statements like this. Yet, on inspection, the article focuses on various elements… Continue reading

The Methodology of AMORC

In The Prisoner of San Jose, I unveiled the methodology by which AMORC was able to create heightened states of hypnotic trance by a program that mainly relied on weekly lessons, delivered by mail to its members and weekly Lodge Convocation. In AMORC UNMASKED, I discussed more precisely how these hypnotic means were affected through a progressive platform of hypnotic suggestion. I published these sixteen steps in Prisoner.

Since many of my critics constantly comment, usually without any explanation, that AMORC is not a cult, I would like to review these 16 steps, somewhat modified and enhanced by my experience… Continue reading

Gary Stewart on The Nodin Manuscript

According to a 1996 monograph, written by Gary Stewart, the former Imperator of AMORC, who was displaced by Christian Bernard, the Nodin Manuscript is “the actual key to the Rosicrucian system and the fundamental basis of our teachings.” According to Stewart, Nodin’s work, which predated the 17th century documents I have referred to previously in The Prisoner of San Jose and AMORC UNMASKED, was in two parts.

It was never published in its entirety and “always remained in the possession of the principal Rosicrucian adept, and later, the Imperator.”

Steward, who now is the Imperator of the Confraternity of the… Continue reading

The Ascent of Christian Bernard

On August 7th, 1990, Christian Bernard assumed the mantle of Imperator under a very fragile moment for AMORC. Not only had the Order been racked by an upheaval by the termination of Gary Stewart as Imperator as ordered by the Supreme Council, but funds for a variety of reasons were extremely low and this was partially, attributed, at the time, to the actions of Gary Stewart. In a Special 1991 edition of the Forum, a Q&A section addressed the question: How could something like this happen to AMORC? Isn’t the Imperator cosmically guided? Part of the answer was:

We are… Continue reading

AMORC Initiation – Temple Degree 3 Part III – Blurring of Reality

In reviewing Initiation 3, I commented on how, at a certain point after the ritual has advanced to a certain point, the candidate is told to imagine how the initiations took place thousands of years ago. By doing this, the monograph says,

-you will attune with the Akashic Records and, on the screen of your consciousness, you will see particular scenes rising from a distant past..

In AMORC UNMASKED, I make this critical point:

The question for someone undergoing very extensive work in imaging while involved with an occult organization is whether they are preparing themselves for higher reality, presumably… Continue reading

AMORC Initiation – Temple Degree 3 Part II – Portal to Madness

In my last blog, we discussed the set-up for the Initiation I carried out in my home sanctum for Temple Degree 3.

After meticulously creating conditions for a very powerful hypnotic platform, as described in both the Prisoner of San Jose and AMORC UNMASKED, the candidate is then told:

To perpetuate this rite, I asked that you remain seated, relax as much as possible, and try to imagine what could compose this phenomena, which the candidates of the initiation could not understand. If you can make yourself receptive enough, you will attune with the Akashic Records and, on the screen… Continue reading
