Questions I Would Ask My Critics

If you have read my books and disagree, exactly why do you not think that AMORC is not a cult? Please address the exact issues I bring up.

For instance, does not AMORC rather strongly imply that it is the only legitimate, clearly active spiritual fraternity in the world? What proof do you actually have that AMORC has the history and authority it claims for itself?

What do you really know about FUDOSI- and its right to actually provide credentials for AMORC? Do you know anything about its history? Do you know why it was disbanded?

Have you studied the… Continue reading

Last Response to Bruno

I guess my ears are still ringing after reading again the comments on my book, the Prisoner of San Jose by A. Bruno ‘Italiano,’ in U. K. Amazon. At the end of his critique, he says:

I am deeply sorry for this man but I think it’s really horrible what he has done. If he did not agree on the principles of AMORC, he should have just left and not waiting for 25 years. Exercises and techniques described here as methods for indoctrinations and hypnosis. Mr Freeman if you look at all the new age and Eastern religions, you would… Continue reading

Escalating the Illusion Part II

In an article called “The Inner Self” for The Celestial Sanctum section of the Rosicrucian Digest (May/June 1988), Dennis Kwaitkowski, F.R.C. relates-

“Our Rosicrucian Manual defines the Inner Self as the spiritual consciousness within the physical body. It further goes on to relate that this consciousness constitutes man’s real being and is part of the soul or the divine element of each person’s existence. The physical, material part of man is related to the spiritual consciousness, for both are part of the same cosmic whole and both work in harmonious parallel. The Inner Self, however, is unlimited and is in… Continue reading

Hypnosis versus Meditation

Now, what I am going to say is my opinion- but I think that meditation and hypnosis are profoundly different procedures, although they both open the door to the subconscious in different ways. As I mention in AMORC Unmasked, the word, “hypnosis” comes from the word “sleep” in ancient Greek. I believe that this is a clue to what hypnosis is most like in human consciousness. On the other hand, meditation is about increasing awareness.

If I were sitting down in my sanctum, meditating, I would be “cultivating awareness,” a term associated with various kinds of meditation. This awareness could… Continue reading

AMORC Initiation – Temple Degree 3 Part IV – Good Food for the Lower Mind

We have focused on initiation as a portal to another level of illusionary reality, but in a sense- let’s face it, so are at least 75% of the AMORC experiments. The difference, though, between an exercise in visualization or telepathy and initiation- is that the idea of initiation involves advancement and prestige. Whereas it might be difficult to imagine or measure the degree of advancement of a pupil in regards to his telepathic abilities, initiation spells out where he or she is in the world of the Rosy Cross- immediately.

And- putting aside the disclaimer that the more advanced an… Continue reading
